The clear glossy finish protects and enhances colors. 3 mils thick per flap is the thin and clear standard laminating pouch on the market and works in nearly all hot pouch laminators and remains fairly flexible and rollable. 3 mil laminating pouches keep images very true to size and avoid a bottle bottom appearance. Note: Industry standard specification for 3 mil laminating pouches is 3 mil on each flap for a total of 6 mil added to your paper sheet. 1 mil equals 1/1000th of an inch (metric: 25 microns). The industry calls these pouches, yet they are sealed on only one edge instead of three (like a folder, but with 3/32” flat seal for the fold).
