If your Scamp requires a specific mattress, and we’ve developed it. We use the correct template right from Scamp to ensure a perfect fit, but that’s just the beginning. First of all, it needs to be comfortable yet not too thick to lose headroom or to add unnecessary weight. This mattress meets these criteria by having layers of graduating firmness- a firm base core, a medium middle layer, and then a thin soft top layer of comfort foam (this foam is 2” thick- just enough to give you a plush surface, but no extreme sinking or molding sensation). You get a nice soft surface and an overall medium comfort level- no bottoming out and no super firm “boardy” feeling- all coming in at 6” thick. A Scamp mattress also needs to be able to breathe, so that you’re not sleeping hot and so that the mattress does not attract mold. Our Scamp mattress wicks away moisture with its breathable stretch knit fabric. Finally you can sleep on a mattress in your Scamp! No seams and with the comfort you’d expect from a mattress at home!
