- Beautiful and Unique Fan-Submitted Bird Designs: The birds are unique (not represented in the game or an expansion), the art is consistent with Wingspan, and there are no new types of powers on these cards (but there are new iterations on existing powers).
- New Birds: There are 6 individually packaged sets of 25 cards within one Display Box, for a total of 150 new cards to enhance any game of Wingspan. The following regions are represented: Asia, Britain, Canada, Continental Europe, New Zealand, and the United States.
- Wingspan Game Required: In order to play, the Wingspan (Base Game) or Wingspan Asia (1-2 player) is required. Combines well with all expansions.
- Artwork and Design: In cooperation with Elizabeth Hargrave, fan creation coordinator Travis Willse, and a few selected designers, Stonemaier has officially printed these fan-designed bird promo packs. These birds are illustrated by many new artists along with Wingspan illustrator Natalia Rojas. he art is consistent with the general style of all other birds in the game.
- Add, Replace, or Use These Only: You can shuffle the cards into your standard Wingspan set, only select some cards to replace the cards you have, or play games only with these birds.
- Region vs. Region Optional Variant: Each player picks a region to use as their own personal draw pile, which they use to create their starting hand and also have the option to pull from whenever they gain a bird card.
- Recyclable Box: The box for the cards is designed both for storage and recyclability, should you wish to discard the box and add the cards into the base game.
